FederGEX — Cookie and Browser Storage Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains cookies and similar technical browser storage used by the FederGEX public website and the application at app.federgex.com. Cookies are browser records sent to a server; local storage and session storage keep information on your device. Their privacy rules depend on purpose, not just their technical name.

2. Technical storage

ItemPurposeDuration
Application session cookie fg_sessionAuthenticate the application session and control accessUp to 23 hours; may end earlier on logout or invalidation
Dashboard local storageSave selected instruments, refresh and chart preferences, drawings and tool settings where supportedUntil cleared, overwritten or removed by the application or browser; no fixed automatic expiry
Referral session storageCarry a referral identifier during the browsing sessionGenerally until the tab or browsing session ends
Authentication recovery storage, where used by the authentication SDKSupport account authentication and password recoveryAccording to the authentication flow and SDK behaviour

These functions support services requested by you. Technical storage does not require an optional advertising consent simply because it uses a cookie. Local preferences may remain on your device after an account or paid entitlement ends; that does not restore paid access.

3. Public website and external services

The reviewed public website code does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or an advertising tracking script. It loads fonts from Google Fonts; font requests transmit technical information, including your IP address, to that provider. Links to Telegram, WhatsApp and the application open services governed by their own policies.

The application uses third-party infrastructure and software delivery services, including Supabase, Stripe and content delivery networks. Visiting payment or communication services can involve their own cookies and storage, explained by those providers. This policy does not treat all third-party storage as technical or pre-authorize optional tracking.

4. Optional tracking and choices

Any non-essential analytics, advertising or profiling technologies requiring consent must remain blocked until the required consent is obtained. If they are introduced, we will update this information and provide the necessary choices. There is no optional tracking consent banner in this version of the public website.

You can remove or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking necessary application storage can prevent login or make settings unavailable. Browser controls are separate from withdrawing any consent given to an independent external service.
